Camas, Latest News, News, Schools, Washougal The Battle Ground Industry Fair and the East County Industry Hiring Fair have combined efforts to offer one virtual hiring fair event for career learning opportunities as well as job seekers for students, families and community members in Southwest Washington.
The hiring fair, coordinated by the Battle Ground, Camas, La Center, Stevenson-Carson and Washougal school districts, will be held online from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 18.
The event is free and open to the public.
Participants can browse online information “tables” set up by local businesses, live-stream with people in various industries and attend online educational sessions about things like creating a LinkedIn profile and writing a resume.
Business owners and recruiters can register for the event through March 5. More than two dozen employers have already signed up for the hiring fair, including: LiveWell Camas, Job Corps, Clark County, Sweetwater SUP Rentals, WaferTech, Aerospace Joint Apprenticeship Committee, Skamania Lodge, Intel Corporation, NW Laborers Apprenticeship, Oregon & SW Washington Painters and Drywall Finishers Apprenticeship, Community Home Health & Hospice, Temco, Forest Youth Success, and NECA-IBEW Electrical Training Center.
