We will update this list as more announcements come in. CAMAS
CLOSED:
- Camas Public Library is closed until further notice
- Indoor programs through Camas Parks & Recreation are closed until further notice
- East County Fire and Rescue: ECFR board started meeting virtually and will be looking into streaming services for the public.
- Attic Gallery is closed for normal business. They are open by appointment only. Visit the website at atticgallery.com.
- All city of Camas parks facilities such as playgrounds, sports fields and restrooms (except restrooms at Heritage Park, which opened May 5) are closed until further notice. Open green spaces and trails at Camas-run parks remain open.
CANCELED:
- All city board and commission meetings (except Camas City Council workshops and meetings) are canceled through May.
- Meeting room reservations for any city of Camas facility are not being accepted through the month of May. Those who have already scheduled events are strongly encouraged to reschedule their events for a later date. Reservation fees and payments will be refunded, if applicable.
- Camas Parks & Recreation is cancelling the annual Camtown Youth Festival at Crown Park in Camas on Saturday, June 6.
- Camas Plant & Garden Fair scheduled for Saturday, May 9, has been canceled.
WASHOUGAL
CLOSED:
- The Two Rivers Heritage Museum has closed indefinitely.
- West Columbia Gorge Humane Society: The shelter has closed to the public but staff will still be on duty and available by phone or email. The shelter will not accept non-emergency owner surrenders at this time, but is offering re-homing assistance by posting available pets through the shelter and on Petfinder.com. For more information on this, email adoptions@wcghs.org.
- City of Washougal has closed the following parks through Phase III of the governor’s four-phase state reopening plan to ensure the safety of citizens and limit the spread of COVID-19:
- Sandy Swimming Hole Park
- Steamboat Landing Dock
- Hathaway Pickleball Courts (NOTE: Lower Hathaway Park has reopened for riverside recreating, but pickleball courts remain closed)
- And all playgrounds, sports courts/fields and picnic shelters
OTHER:
- West Columbia Gorge Humane Society: Pet adoptions will resume by appointment only. People interested in adopting a pet should fill out an adoption application on the shelter website and be prepared to wait 24 hours for staff to call and set up an appointment.
