The Washington State Department of Transportation will begin striping Camas roads on Friday, Aug. 28. The work is dependent on weather and dates may shift in order to work around rainy conditions. Residents are asked to be aware of work zones throughout the city, be patient and not pass the striping vehicles. Long challenges Herrera Beutler to formal debates
Carolyn Long, candidate for Congress in Washington’s 3rd Congressional District has challenged incumbent congresswoman, Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, to three formal debates.
Long hopes the debates will take place in communities across the district on a virtual platform and be live-streamed so they are accessible to all residents of Southwest Washington.
“Southwest Washingtonians deserve to see both of us on the virtual debate stage before November,” Long stated in a press release. “Now, more than ever, the people in Washington’s 3rd Congressional District need to hear how both candidates plan to address the public health and economic crises facing our communities. I look forward to showing voters how my problem solving approach and policy proposals to everyday challenges differ from my opponent.”
