Warnings about toxic blue-green algae, which can be harmful to humans and fatal to pets, are still in effect at Lacamas and Round lakes in Camas.
A similar warning has been lifted at Camas’ Fallen Leaf Lake.
Until further notice, people visiting Lacamas or Round lakes are asked to avoid drinking the water, swimming in the lakes or water skiing and boating in areas where scum is present. Fish pulled from either lake should be cleaned well and the guts discarded.
