Camas Public Library: Preschool Storytime for children ages 3 to 5 years will be held at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27 , and Tuesday, Oct. 1. Slavic storytime (in Russian and Ukrainian) will begin at 10:15 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30. Korean storytime will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30. Tiny Tots Storytime will be held at 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2. Baby Storytime will be held at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3. The Crochet Club will meet at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26. School-age children can sign up for a library card with a Camas firefighter from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26. The 4 Seasons 4-H group will bring a petting zoo to the library as part of the library’s “Library Card Sign-up Month” from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28. The English Conversation Group, an informal gathering of English as a second language (ESL) speakers, will meet from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1. The No. 2 Readers book group, which reads mainly literary fiction, will meet from 6 to 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, to discuss the month’s book, “Astoria,” by Peter Stark.
