Camas School District: The school board will hold a regular meeting from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Zellerbach Administration Center, at 841 N.E. 22nd Ave., Camas.

Washougal City Council: The council will hold a workshop at 5 p.m., and a regular meeting at 7 p.m., Monday, July 22, at Washougal City Hall, 1701 “C” St., Washougal.

Friends of Washougal Community Library: The Friends of the Library will hold a regular meeting from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 23, at the Washougal Community Library, 1661 “C” St., Washougal.

LIBRARY PROGRAMS

Camas Public Library: Preschool Storytime for children ages 3 to 5 years will be held at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m., Friday, July 19, and Tuesday, July 23. Slavic storytime (in Russian and Ukrainian) will begin at 10:15 a.m., Monday, July 22. Korean storytime will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, July 22. The English Conversation Group will meet at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 23. Tiny Tots Storytime will be held at 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 24. Storytime in the Parks will be held from 11 a.m. to noon, Monday, July 22, at Grass Valley Park, 3211 N.W. 38th Ave., Camas. Washougal Community Library: Family storytime, for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and children, will meet from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Friday, July 19. “Yuki Origami: Dollar Bill” a program for teens to learn how to fold dollar bills into cute animals and more, is scheduled for 6 to 7 p.m., Friday, July 19. Teen Night will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, July 19. Craft and Play will be held from 2 to 3 p.m., Tuesday, July 23. A “Gumboot Dance” for children and teens, featuring the history of South African mine workers who left their homelands to work in Johannesburg mines, told through storytelling, will be held from 2 to 3 p.m., Wednesday, July 24. SENIOR CITIZENS

Meals on Wheels: Lunches, prepared by The Meals on Wheels People, are served at 11:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday, in the Washougal Community Center, at 1681 “C” St., Washougal. Meals on Wheels home delivery is available Monday through Friday. Volunteers are needed. Washougal Senior Center: Meals on Wheels provides coffee from 10 to 11:30 a.m., and serves lunch at 11:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday. The center hosts a food bank at 11 a.m., Mondays. Activities offered during the week include: cribbage, bingo, bunco, pinochle, billiards, watercolor painting and exercise classes. A breakfast fundraiser, to support Washougal Community Center activities, is held on the last Friday of each month (except November and December) from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. The cost is $5. A potluck is held on the first Friday of each month. Refuel Friday, sponsored by local churches and nonprofits, is offered from 4 to 6 p.m. every Friday. Watercolorists group: The watercolor group meets from 1:30 to 3 p.m., every Tuesday, at the Washougal Community Center, 1681 “C” St. This is not an instructed class; however, there is a group critique at the end of the session. All are welcome.
