The Camas-Washougal Post-Record office building, located at 425 N.E. Fourth Ave., in downtown Camas, will be sold. Staff plan to relocate to the Columbian daily newspaper offices in Vancouver by the end of May.

The Camas-Washougal Post-Record staff will soon relocate to offices at the Columbian daily newspaper, at 701 W. Eighth St., Vancouver.

The Post-Record office building, located at 425 N.E. Fourth Ave., in downtown Camas, will be sold.

Post-Record staff plan to vacate the Camas building by the end of May.

“The Post-Record will maintain its publishing cycle and will continue to have an independent news team providing journalism to the Camas-Washougal area,” said Columbian Publisher Scott Campbell.

The Columbian is the parent company of the Post-Record and has been providing printing and business support services to the weekly newspaper since the Campbell family acquired the Post-Record in 2004.

Both newspapers have deep roots in their respective communities: the Columbian publishing since 1890 and the Camas Post since 1908.
