Services will be held today and tomorrow for a Camas mother of three found murdered in her home on March 18.
A vigil for Luz Guitron, 35, will be held from 6 p.m. today, through 8 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church, 10955 S.E. 25th Ave., Milwaukie, Oregon.
A Rosary will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, followed by a funeral at noon, also at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church.
Guitron, a vendor at the Camas Farmers Market, and frequent vendor at Camas city events, including Hometown Holidays, also worked at the Moda Center, in Portland.
Camas police have named Guitron’s boyfriend, Guillermo Juarez, 38, as their primary suspect in her death. The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office reported last week that Guitron was a victim of homicide and died from multiple sharp force injuries. Police are still searching for Juarez, described as a 5’9, 170-pound Hispanic male with black hair and brown eyes.
