2018 grads set to walk this weekend

Camas-Washougal high schools host graduation ceremonies

Seniors from Camas, Washougal and Hayes Freedom high schools will walk in graduation ceremonies throughout the weekend, beginning with Camas High’s class of 2018 graduation at 7 p.m., Friday evening.

We preview all graduating seniors and the Camas and Washougal valedictorians in our special Graduation 2018 section, located inside this week’s Camas-Washougal Post-Record.

Following are a list of this weekend’s graduation ceremonies. Congratulations to all of our local high school grads!

Camas High School
What: Graduation ceremony for Camas High School’s class of 2018
When: 7 p.m., Friday, June 15; gates open at 5:30 p.m., for ticketed guests, 6:15 p.m. for non-ticketed guests
Where: Doc Harris Stadium, 1125 N.E. 22nd Ave., Camas; enter through stadium gate next to the main ticket booth

Hayes Freedom High School
What: Graduation ceremony for Hayes Freedom High School’s class of 2018
When: 2 p.m., Saturday, June 16
Where: In main gym at Liberty Middle School, 1612 N.E. Garfield St., Camas

Washougal High School
What: Graduation ceremony for Washougal High School’s class of 2018
When: 5 p.m., Saturday June 16; gates open at 3:30 p.m.
Where: Fishback Stadium, 1201 39th St., Washougal
More info: Excelsior High School has been blended into Washougal High and is no longer a separate school, so the graduation ceremony is combined this year. Students who attended programs in the Excelsior building will participate in the Washougal High commencement and receive a Washougal High School diploma.
