More than 150 area residents feasted on sausage and mashed potatoes with sausage gravy, green beans, cole slaw and cake during the 29th annual Groundhog Dinner, Feb. 3, at Washougal United Methodist Church. The event raised $230 for the Inter-Faith Treasure House, which provides food, clothing and emergency assistance to families in crisis in the Camas-Washougal area. Other dinner proceeds will benefit church missions, including its "Dress a Girl Around the World" project, which involves sending handcrafted dresses to locations such as Uganda.
