Washougal police have investigated an unaccompanied cooler that was left near the Port of Camas-Washougal marina.
The blue cooler was determined to be empty and not a threat, according to WPD Sgt. Geoff Reijonen.
“The bomb squad was consulted but did not respond,” he said.
Port Executive Director David Ripp said someone from the general public contacted Washougal police after they noticed the cooler located next to a soda vending machine, by the port office at 24 S. “A” St., Washougal.
The cooler was discovered Thursday, at approximately 4 p.m.
