The Camas High School softball team picked up its 18th victory of the season in stunning fashion Wednesday, in Camas.
Prairie scored five times in the top of the fifth inning to take a one-run lead, but the Papermakers rallied for two runs in the bottom of the seventh to win 7-6.
Kyli Obermiller walked and came around to score the tying run for Camas. Alyssa Tomasini also reached base, headed for home on a pass ball and scored the winning run.
This turned into unforgettable Senior Day for Tomasini, Tianna Bevens, Callie Johnson, Allie Hancock and Alexis Royal.
The Papermakers roll into the playoffs with an 18-1 record. Their only loss came against Battle Ground March 20. Since then, Camas has won 14 games in a row.
Camas faces Bellarmine (12-6) in the first round of the bi-district tournament Friday, at the Kent Service fields. First pitch is at 4:30 p.m.
