Washougal Mayoral candidate Dan Coursey will have a campaign kickoff event at 6 p.m., Wednesday, June 21, in the Port of Camas-Washougal office meeting room, 24 S. “A” St., Washougal.
He will face Molly Coston in the Nov. 7 general election.
Coursey won the Washougal City Council Position 7 race against Coston in the November 2015 General Election.
Coursey, 63, has had careers as a commercial banker and real estate underwriter; and later as a computer systems engineer.
Coston, a former senior project manager in the telecommunications industry, was on the Washougal City Council from June 2005 through December 2011.
In a press release, Coursey said he is a fiscally conservative person who promotes small government, small business, transparency and accountability to the taxpayer.
