News The Washougal and Camas school districts have announced that school will be closed on Monday, Jan. 9.
The closure is due to inclement weather and unsafe driving conditions, after snow fell on Saturday, and an ice storm with freezing rain hit the area on Sunday.
This will mark both districts’ fifth day of classes canceled due to treacherous winter weather conditions. The school year has already been extended to make up for four missed days in December.
