Ray Kutch is appointed to Washougal City Council

Nine applicants were interviewed Tuesday night

The former owner of Dodge City Bar & Grill, in Camas and Vancouver, is the newest member of the Washougal City Council.

Ray Kutch was sworn into office by Mayor Sean Guard Tuesday night, after being interviewed by six councilors.

Kutch was one of nine applicants who went through the interview process.

He succeeds Jennifer McDaniel, who resigned from council effective Jan. 31. She has moved to Camas.
