News The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for Southwest Washington and Northwest Oregon.
The watch will be in effect Sunday morning through Monday morning.
Rain is expected to increase Sunday morning, possibly changing to snow as early as midday or as late as that evening.
Rain and snow showers will continue into Monday, with snow levels likely rising back into the hills that morning.
The snow level is forecast to be 1,000 feet or lower.
