A large cedar tree that fell across Main Street and several power lines just west of 24th Street, in Washougal has been cut up and moved.

Mayor Sean Guard said the cut up tree was moved Friday afternoon to the south side of Main Street, out of the right of way.

The tree fell Friday, at about 2:15 p.m. Drivers and walkers had been advised to avoid the 2300 block of Main Street until the tree was removed and the road was reopened.
