Photography by students from Camas High School will be featured at the Second Story Gallery through April.
Titled “From Our Point of View,” the work includes character portraits, action shots and other “art” photos.
The artwork was created by students in Doug Huegli’s advanced art class. They will cap their spring break by attending an opening reception in their honor during First Friday, April 7, from 5 to 8 p.m. Live music will be provided by Brad Jensen.
According to Huegli, digital photography courses were added to film photography at the high school 13 years ago.
With the opening of the new high school the following year, film photography went by the wayside and his digital classes have expanded from 16 students to the current 131.
