News Area residents are invited to explore their families’ military histories, using the Internet.
A free workshop will be held Saturday, Oct. 1, at 10 a.m., at Columbia Ridge Senior Living, 2300 W. Ninth St., Washougal.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their war artifacts.
Rod Fleck, the city attorney and planner for Forks, Washington, will be the guest speaker. He has a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Washington.
Fleck led the Seattle Genealogical Society’s German Interest Group for a decade, and he has given numerous presentations on German genealogy.
