Business Complimentary comic books will be provided in Washougal, as part of a nationwide event.
The 15th annual “Free Comic Book Day” will be celebrated Saturday, from noon to 4 p.m., at Hero Support, 823 “E” St.
The selection will include Dark Horse, DC, Marvel, Boom, Image and Valiant comics. There will be raffles for gift cards, and free popcorn.
There will be prizes awarded for best cosplay costumes.
Becky Dotson, co-owner of Hero Support with her husband, Dave, said the cosplay prize categories will include best superhero, anime and overall costume for children up to and including age 12.
Hero Support buys, sells and trades Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic: The Gathering cards, as well as Legos minifigures, board and role playing games and Star Wars, Avengers, Pop! and vintage Transformers figures. There are also arcade machines, toys and weekly gaming tournaments.
