St. Anne’s Episcopal Church will host a prayer vigil tonight, in response to the mass shooting in Orlando.
The “More Love, Less Hate” vigil will begin at 7:30 p.m., in the sanctuary of St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, 2350 Main St., Washougal.
“In prayer and silence, we will join in solidarity with Orlando and all of the LGBTQ community who suffer because of this broken world’s hatred and violence,” said Rev. Jessie Smith, vicar of St. Anne’s. “All are welcome to join us in this time of grief and hope for a different kind of future.”
Forty-nine people were killed and at least 53 were wounded at the Pulse nightclub Sunday, at approximately 2 a.m.
