William “Bill” Jessett died June 8, 2016. He was 88.

A service will be held Wednesday, July 13, at 2 p.m., at Zion Lutheran Church in Camas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be given to Zion Lutheran Church, Washougal Lions Club, Inter-Faith Treasure House, or a charity of choice.

Frances R. Kaiser

Frances (Fran) Rose Kaiser, died of heart disease May 13, 2016, in Seattle.

There will not be a service. Memorial donations can be made to The Friends of the Washougal Community Library, P.O. Box 1104, Washougal, WA 98671.

Alisa Baird Rasmussen Vail

Alisa Baird Rasmussen Vail died June 23, 2016.

A celebration of life open house service will be held Saturday, July 9, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Pearson Air Museum. Guests are invited to write down a favorite memory of Alisa and bring it to the service. The collected notes will be shared with Annabelle, Abbie and the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made at any branch of iQ Credit Union to the Alisa Vail Memorial fund.

Evelyn J. Pierce

Evelyn Joy Pierce died June 14, 2016, in Camas. She was 94.

A celebration of life service for Evelyn and Don (who died Jan. 20) will be held Saturday, July 30, at 2 p.m. at GracePoint Fellowship, 850 Sixth St., Washougal.

Artie B. Sarchet

Artie Belle Sarchet died June 30, 2016. She was 93.

A celebration of Artie’s life will be held Thursday, July 7, at Stoller Memorial Chapel at Brown’s Funeral Home in Camas at 1 p.m. A graveside service will follow at the Camas Cemetery.
