The Camas Car Show has been rescheduled due to weather concerns.
Originally set for Saturday, July 9, it will now be held on Saturday, Aug. 6, from 4 to 8:30 p.m. in downtown Camas.
“A significant rain event is coming through this weekend, and that just isn’t conducive to a good community car show,” said Downtown Camas Association Director Carrie Schulstad.
The popular event brings classic and specialty cars to the streets of the historic downtown district.
The car show will also feature live music, dance performances, food vendors and multiple raffles.
Downtown businesses will be open late for shopping and dining.
Admission is free to spectators.
For participants, a $15 car entry fee is required. Pre-registration is recommended.
Awards, including Best in Show, People’s Choice and sponsor’s picks will be given. The car winning Best in Show will be featured on the 2017 Camas Car Show poster and promotions.
