Death Notices Gerald Kenneth Gillespie died peacefully Aug. 26, 2015, at the Manor Care Rehab facility in Salmon Creek.
A memorial service was held Aug. 29 at the Washougal Senior Center. One of Jerry’s favorite songs “You Lift Me Up,” was sung by daughter-in-law Angelique and granddaughter Jazmine. Playing the bagpipes, his son David performed to open the service and closed the services with “Amazing Grace.”
His ashes were placed under a big oak tree.
