Heritage Day organizers are looking for exhibitors

Event will be held Sept. 19, at Two Rivers Heritage Museum

People with crafting abilities, hobbies or other skills or interests are invited to participate in the Heritage Day & Ice Cream Social, in Washougal.

The annual event will be held Saturday, Sept. 19, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Two Rivers Heritage Museum, 1 Durgan St.

There will be no booth fee. Potential exhibitors can register by calling Dick Lindstrom at 608-5642.

He and Lois Cobb are coordinating the event.

The Camas-Washougal Historical Society will sell hot dogs, lemonade, ice cream sundaes and root beer floats.

Heritage Day will also feature free admission to the museum, demonstrations of weaving, spinning and a blacksmith. The Flying Eagle A’s Model A Car Club will display its vintage cars, and the Camas-Washougal Fire Department will bring a fire truck.

“Granny’s Attic,” chaired by Betty Egger, will feature a sale of surplus and duplicate items from the museum. Plants will be available for purchase, and there will be a raffle for a Pendleton blanket donated by Pendleton Woolen Mills.
