ERS acquires Your Rental Center

Excavator Rental Services has purchased an event rental company in Hood River, Ore.

Your Rental Center, 1113 Tucker Road, has party supplies for weddings, showers, office events and business receptions, as well as tools and equipment for home improvement projects and repairs.

ERS owners Jerry and Mary Sauer bought Your Rental Center from Chuck and Irene Johnisee, who have retired after owning and operating Your Rental Center for 38 years.

ERS will add a heavy equipment fleet to the Hood River rental business, which has eight full-time and three part-time employees.

The Sauers, of Camas, celebrated ERS’ 10th anniversary in March. The company has 25 full-time and two part-time employees.

Sauer Development Group LLC purchased the Tidland Corporate Center, at 2305 S.E. Eighth Ave., Camas, for $3.3 million in 2014. It includes 64,000 square feet of industrial buildings and a 6.03-acre campus.

Tidland employees continue to work in three of the manufacturing and marketing buildings.

Tractors are available to rent from ERS, along with excavators, golf carts, stump grinders, generators and pressure washers. The showroom, at 754 S.E. Union St., includes supplies, such as diesel fuel additive and duct tape, that are available to purchase.
