Edward F. Koester died peacefully May 27, 2015, with family at his side.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, June 28, at 2 p.m., at Mount Adams Baptist Church in Trout Lake, Washington.

Carlos J. Cartagena

Carlos Juan Cartagena died June 5, 2015, surrounded by his loved ones. He was 86.

Military honors will take place Thursday, June 11, at 9 a.m., at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. at Brown’s Funeral Home in Camas. Brown’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ruth C. Bishop

Ruth C. Bishop died peacefully May 28, 2015, in her home in Gladstone, Oregon.

Services were held June 5 at River View Cemetery’s Adams Chapel in Portland with interment later that day at the family plot in City View Cemetery, in Salem, Oregon.

George R. Jensen

George Robert Jensen died June 2, 2015, in Vancouver. He was 95.

He was born Sept. 21, 1919 in Ashland, Oregon. His life will be celebrated Sunday, June 14, at Scenic Hills Memorial Cemetery in Ashland. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas was in charge of arrangements.
