Representatives of the Small Business Administration and area lending institutions will share information about various types of commercial loans during a free workshop.
The session will be held Tuesday, April 14, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., in the Columbia Room of the Vancouver Community Library, 901 “C” St., Vancouver.
Topics of the panel discussion will include what people need to do to get favorable terms and conditions for business loans. Equipment financing, revolving credit lines and construction loans will also be talked about, as well as collateral and equity requirements, rates and terms from commercial banks, credit unions and “micro lenders.”
The seminar is presented by the Ft. Vancouver chapter of SCORE, a nonprofit association that educates entrepreneurs and helps small businesses start and grow. Janet Harte will be the moderator, and there will be time for questions from the audience.
