A Camas non-profit organization is the beneficiary of a contribution from the Nike Employee Grant Fund.
The Nike Employee Grant Fund of the Oregon Community Foundation recently donated $14,000 to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Portland Metro, to create sustained sports and fitness activities across the organization’s six club sites, including the Jack, Will and Rob Club in Camas.
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Portland focus on providing affordable, high-quality after-school and summer programs available to all youth.
Programs are designed to help youth ages 6 to 18 develop the qualities they need to become responsible, contributing citizens within their communities.
The organization’s programs serve approximately 13,000 youth annually.
