Melvin A. Scott

Melvin Arnold Scott died peacefully, at his home in Camas, Dec. 24, 2013, as the Christmas clock began to play, “I’ll be home for Christmas.”

A funeral service was held Dec. 30 at the LDS church in Camas. Burial was private at the St. George Cemetery in St. George. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas was in charge of arrangements.

Heather E. Cox

Heather Elaine Cox, of Washougal, died Nov. 29, 2013, in Tucson, Ariz. She was 36.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, Jan. 11, at 2 p.m., at Camas Friends Church. A reception will follow. Brown’s Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Chase Bank account of Dorothy Kemper and Dave Brisco.

Jeanne M. Deringer, of Vancouver, died peacefully Dec. 28, 2013, at Touchmark Waterford. She was 87.
