On Nov. 12, the Downtown Camas Association held its annual banquet to honor the people and businesses that are making a difference in the vibrancy and growth of historic downtown Camas.
Awards were presented to: Fuel Medical for Best Downtown Improvement Award Exterior and Interior; Lizzabeth A, Outstanding Window Display Award; Caps N’ Taps, Creative Local Marketing Award; Mill City Brew Werks, Putting Camas on the Map Award; Camas Bike and Sport, Change is Good Award; Arktana Shoes, Something New in Camas Award; Caffe Piccolo, Outstanding Customer Service Award; and The Wild Hair, Downtown Spirit Award.
Volunteer of the Year was presented to Val Mouser for her work on the Camas Plant & Garden Fair during its first year back in Downtown Camas.
Special mentions were given to Lily Atelier and Blush Salon for exceptional acts of customer service; to the Camas Gallery for the efforts of owners Marquita Call and Jennifer Senescu at bringing historic murals to downtown; to the City of Camas street crew for watering the flower baskets and installing tree lights; and to Ken Navidi of Navidi’s Olive Oils & Vinegars for his pursuit to get downtown buildings and trees lit to enhance the downtown experience.
