Derwin Bloom died Oct. 8, 2013. He was 74.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 17, at 1 p.m., at Brown’s Funeral Home in Camas. Burial and services will be held Friday, Oct. 18, at 11 a.m., at the Glenwood Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at a nearby school at 1 p.m. Brown’s Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Boyd L. Brown Jr.

Boyd Lee Brown Jr. died Oct. 7, 2013, at his home. He was 61.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, Oct. 19, at 11 a.m., at Brown’s Funeral Home in Camas, with a reception to follow at The Marshall House on Officer’s Row in Vancouver. Brown’s Funeral Home & Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.

Brent Rust Palmer died Oct. 8, 2013, in Bellevue, Wash. He was 25.

Florence E. Norris

Florence Ehilia Norris of Vancouver, died Oct. 3, 2013, at the Ray Hickey Hospice House in Vancouver. She was 87.

There will be no public services. Straub’s Funeral Home and Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Ronald W. Winter

Ronald Wayne Winter died Oct. 10, 2013, at his home in North Bonneville. He was 78.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, Oct. 17, at 3:30 p.m., at the Eagles Lodge, 150 S.W. First St., in Stevenson. Straub’s Funeral Home and Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Ronald Dean Paul died Oct. 6, 2013, in Vancouver. He was 76.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 16, at 11 a.m., at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Vancouver, followed by burial at Willamette National Cemetery. A “celebration of life” party will be held Saturday, Oct. 19, from 1 to 5 p.m., at IUOE 701 hall.

Earl A. Ahern

Earl Austin Ahern died Oct. 2, 2013, at home in Washougal. He was 72.

Roseann Hall died Oct. 10, 2013, in Vancouver. She was 69.

Vernon Vahsholtz died peacefully Oct. 11, 2013. He was 78.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, Oct. 19, at 1 p.m., at Zion Lutheran Church in Camas. Interment will be at Washougal Memorial Cemetery at 11 a.m. Brown’s Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Karen W. Norris died Oct. 13, 2013, at home in Grapeview, Wash. She was 71.
