Rebecca ‘Becky’ C. Morris

Rebecca “Becky” Carol Morris died Dec. 30, 2012, at her home in Washougal, after a short but courageous battle with metastatic melanoma. She was 33.

A celebration of Becky’s life was held Saturday at Camas Meadows Golf Club. A celebration of her life is also being planned in Owatonna. Becky’s ashes will be spread at her parents’ property in northern Minnesota.

Reuben Bafus

Reuben Bafus died Dec. 29, 2012. He was 92.

A memorial service was held Jan. 1 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Vancouver.

Memorial donations can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Stanton W. Nystrom

Stanton W. Nystrom, a lifelong Washougal resident, died Jan. 2, 2013. He was 90.

A memorial service will be held Friday at 2 p.m., at Washougal United Methodist Church. Burial will be private at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery.

Delores Engler

Delores Engler died Jan. 4, 2013. She was 81.

A rosary will be Thursday, at 6 p.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be Friday, at noon, at St. Thomas. Interment will be at the Camas Cemetery. Brown’s Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial donations can be made to the Ray Hickey Hospice House or St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

Bernadine ‘Pat’ Curran

Bernadine “Pat” Curran died Dec. 28, 2012.

A funeral mass was held Jan. 3 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Vancouver. Private Interment was at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas was in charge of arrangements.
