LCCU donates to Stevenson school district

Lacamas Community Credit Union presented the Stevenson-Carson School District with a $3,000 donation check as part of the credit union’s 2012 Community Partnership Program.

Lacamas Chief Financial Officer Eric Petracca and Stevenson Branch Manager Jan Kingston presented the check to Superintendent Teena McDonald at a student assembly at Stevenson High School on Sept. 14.

“Lacamas is committed to the communities we serve, and our Community Partnership Program is one way we give back to those communities,” said Petracca. “It is rewarding to make this donation to your schools,” he said.

The Community Partnership Program consists of local organizations that benefit from the credit union’s fundraising efforts. Throughout the year, Lacamas raises funds through sales of See’s Candy and Entertainment books, and other activities.
