Chinese Storytime, craft offered
There will be a Chinese Storytime for children ages five and younger at the Camas Public Library at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 23. A craft will follow the story at 11 a.m.
The event is in celebration of the Chinese New Year. The library is located at 625 N.E. Fourth Ave.
Local students make honor roll at OSU
Local residents have been named to the Oregon State University fall term honor roll.
Students must take at least 12 graded credits to be named to the honor roll.
Students included Natalie M. Burkard, Alyssa M. Cloutier, Justin M. Lebowsky, Brittney N. Oljar and Courtney E. Riler, all of Camas; and Amanda M. O’Quinn of Washougal.
Youth leadership award committee seeks nominations
The Marshall Youth Leadership Award selection committee, on behalf of the Fort Vancouver National Trust, is seeking nominations for the General George C. Marshall Youth Leadership Award.
It will be presented to a Clark County 12th-grade student who demonstrates leadership, takes a stand for the rights of others, serves as a role model, shows initiative and motivates others to become involved.
