A three-year-old company that relocated from Portland to downtown Washougal in 2011 has closed its doors.
Disc. E. Business closed Thursday, after a wholesaler purchased most of the inventory.
Owner Darcy Hall had planned to close next month.
“We are going to go strictly online,” he said. “We will not relocate. Business has been good, but I want to cut down on the overhead.
“I kept the harder-to-find and out of print items,” Hall added.
Disc E. Business had sold DVDs, Blu-rays and video games at 1520 Main St., in Washougal since October.
Meanwhile, the business is hosting the “Raining Stars” collectibles show Saturday, March 10, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, March 11, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Holiday Inn Portland Airport, 8439 N.E. Columbia Blvd.
The event will feature T-shirts, toys, records, comics, posters, movie memorabilia and gaming supplies, as well as actors from “Sons of Anarchy” and other TV shows and films. The Trans Am “Kitt,” from “Night Rider,” is also expected to be on display. General admission will be $5 per person, and vendor spaces are available.
