Celebrations 
Cameron Arthur Blagg III, of Albany, Ore., and Samon Wilaiwan, of Chum Phae, Thailand, have announced their plans to be married.
The groom-to-be, formerly of Skamania County, is a Washougal High School graduate. His father is an artist that lived at the end of Skamania Mines Road from 1975 to 1996.
The couple took part in a traditional Thai engagement ceremony in Chum Phae on Jan. 21. A traditional sacred Thai wedding will be performed in Chum Phae on Feb. 22, with a dinner party to follow.
Local celebrations will be planned when the couple returns to the Pacific Northwest.
