The Port of Camas-Washougal will soon host the official groundbreaking for the Steigerwald Commerce Center.
The ceremony is planned for Thursday, Aug. 16, at 10 a.m., at the corner of South Truman and 37th Street, in the port industrial park. The commerce center will include more than 122 acres.
The first phase, which will make 30 to 40 acres of heavy industrial property available, is made possible by a $1.5 million Washington State grant. The port plans to add infrastructure that will include approximately 2,500 linear feet of street into the commerce center.
