A couple actively involved in the local community has decided to expand their business to the 192nd Avenue corridor.
Don Mills and Morgan McColum, owners of Twilight Pizza Bistro, have co-hosted car shows, raised money for the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society, accepted donations for Children’s Center and entered a team in the Camas Days bathtub races.
They opened May 4, 2007, and they recently signed a new five-year lease for the downtown Camas location. Mills and McColum anticipate opening their second location at 1905 S.E. 192nd Ave., Ste. 101, Camas, in July. The site in the 192nd Station development is currently under construction.
McColum said she and her husband have learned a lot in five years.
“I don’t know that we’d even think about doing what we’re undertaking without the great people who work at Twilight,” she said. “We’re truly blessed to have attracted such amazing colleagues. We know we can count on them. And it goes without saying, that our customers are the best. They are why we keep going.
“Obviously, running restaurants presents particular challenges,” McColum added. “We needed to expand, but we didn’t have the capital or resources to do so until we were approached by Kirkland Development and they made us a very attractive offer.”
