Vearl J. Blackwell, of Washougal, died peacefully at home April 2, 2012, and went home to be with our Lord. He was 94.

A memorial service with military honors will be held Saturday, at 3 p.m., at Bethel Community Church. Straub’s Funeral Home and Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Lucille D. Johnson

Lucille D. Johnson died April 10, 2012, at home in Washougal. She was 86.

Lucinda J. Thompson Johnson

Lucinda Joanne Thompson Johnson died April 7, 2012, at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver. She was 64.

A celebration of Lucinda’s life was held Friday at Zion Lutheran Church. Private vault interment will be held at the Camas Cemetery. Brown’s Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Patricia L. Nichols

Patricia Louise Nichols died April 11, 2012, at her home in Fern Prairie, surrounded by her loved ones.

A service will be held Wednesday, at 12:30 p.m., at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens Chapel, followed by interment. Viewing will be from 5 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

Lester W. Hintz

Lester W. Hintz died peacefully April 11, 2012, in his home surrounded by his family.

A service will be held Wednesday, at 10 a.m., at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Vancouver.

Robert W. Loghry, of Washougal, died April 12, 2012, following a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was 79.

Vytautas “Vytas” Leonavichus died Friday, April 13, 2012, in Vancouver. He was 25.

A graveside service will be held Friday, at 2:30 p.m., at Park Hill Cemetery, 5915 E. Mill Plain Boulevard, Vancouver. Viewing will be held on Thursday, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Brown’s Funeral Home, 410 N.E. Garfield St., Camas.
