Business CID Bio-Science, a Camas-based manufacturing firm, received an award from the World Trade Center Tacoma on Thursday, for Small Business Exporter of the Year.
The 18th Annual Globe Awards, the largest annual international trade event in the state, recognized Washington businesses that thrive through international trade.
World Trade Center Tacoma helps companies expand their businesses internationally.
As this year’s event coincided with the 10th anniversary of 9/11, a steel beam from the World Trade Center New York was on display, and is now on permanent display in Federal Way, according to Michael Larman, director of marketing for CID.
