Arrests are made for pool, schools burglaries

Two men have been taken into custody, after Camas police officers responded to a burglary in progress at Liberty Middle School.

Kevin Wise, a 19-year-old transient, and Brian Allen, a 19-year-old Camas resident, were apprehended in the area near Liberty Nov. 8 after a custodian observed that the subjects had just broken into the school, at 9 p.m. The men, who fled after they saw the custodian, had entered the school building by breaking a window. There were no items stolen or further property damage to the school, located at 1612 N.E. Garfield St.
