Coe named to dean’s list
Tabitha Coe from Camas has been named to the dean’s list at Biola University in La Mirada, Calif.
To be named to the list, students must earn at least a 3.6 GPA and take at least 12 graded credits.
Three students are national merit semi-finalists
The National Merit Scholarship Program has announced the names of approximately 16,000 semifinalists nation-wide.
Camas High School seniors Gabriele Ilarde, Alexander Pien and Nadine Stone are among these students who will continue in the competition for 8,200 National Merit Scholarships.
Clark College to offer new transfer degree
Health informatics information technology is the newest transfer degree program at Clark College.
It will be offered starting winter quarter 2012.
Health informatics is the study of resources and methods for the management of health information.
The field uses computer technology to coordinate the information systems used by hospital, medical clinics and health care professionals.
