News A Washougal man was arrested Tuesday on child pornography charges.
Detectives from the Vancouver Police Department’s Digital Evidence Cybercrime Unit arrested Darin R. Vance, 41. He was booked into the Clark County Jail on 25 counts of dealing child pornography and 400 counts of possession of child pornography.
According to a press release from the VPD, the arrest was the result of an investigation that led to the service of a search warrant in the 2600 block of 34th Street in Washougal in January.
Vance was arrested following the forensic examination of evidence seized from the house.
Vance came to the attention of local law enforcement officers after he distributed child pornography images to an undercover agent in another state.
