The Georgia-Pacific Camas mill will conduct an evacuation drill on Tuesday, July 6, beginning at 9 a.m.
During the event, which is intended to be a realistic depiction of an emergency situation, mill employees will be leaving the facility in large numbers. 911 dispatch and local emergency services agencies have been made aware of the drill, which will be going on throughout the day on Tuesday.
The mill is located on Northeast Adams Street in downtown Camas.
