SBA honors Washougal’s LKE Corp.

A Washougal construction company that specializes in environmental work, including wildlife habitat and watershed restorations, has been named the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) 2019 Pacific Northwest 8(a) Graduate of the Year.

Camas garbage routes to change

In an effort to save taxpayer money, create a more efficient system and cut back on overtime hours, the city of Camas and Waste Connections of Washington are revamping garbage/recycling pick-up schedules for thousands of residents.

Get ready for roundabouts

Traffic roundabouts are a hot topic in Washougal and Camas right now, with one city preparing for summertime construction on two roundabouts along Highway 14, and the other having just OK’d a future roundabout at a busy intersection near Lacamas and Round lakes.
