Camas school board OKs recovery strategy

The Camas School Board unanimously approved the school district’s proposed Academic and Student Well-Being Plan, meant to address student needs that resulted from the closure of school buildings and the move to remote-learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Camas teens tackle toxic algae

Intent on competing in a science competition that could win their team up to $9,000 in savings bonds, the two Camas middle school students were looking for a local problem in need of a solution.

Camas could get $5.3M in federal aid

Camas Council starts hunt for interim mayor

Following last week’s surprise resignation of Camas Mayor Barry McDonnell, the Camas City Council said it will soon select an interim mayor to guide the city through the Nov. 2 general election, when Camas voters will select McDonnell’s replacement.
