Camas head softball coach put on leave

Camas High School head softball coach Ken Nidick was absent from the dugout during Wednesday's home game against Battle Ground because he has been put on administrative leave by the district.

Bennett Lehner delivered a golden goal in overtime to help the Papermakers beat the Union Titans 1-0 April 14, at Doc Harris Stadium. Camas completed the first cycle through league undefeated.

Just as Ryan Krout wrapped his hands around the bag to ensure the tying run touched home plate for Washougal, Brandon Casteel took a risk to score the winning run and succeeded Monday.
