Consultants to Port: Update airport plan, hire staff

A consultant group says the Port of Camas-Washougal is a well-run organization that values community feedback, but should address its underdeveloped plan for the long-term future of Grove Field Airport and consider hiring more staff members.

Rethinking student-rep selection process

Washougal High School leaders were supposed to begin the process of selecting the school’s student representatives to the Washougal School District board of directors for the 2020-21 school year in March 2020.

Developer hopes Washougal waterfront becomes community hub

Roy Kim wants the Waterfront at Parker’s Landing mixed-use urban center to provide visitors with “a sense of place” when it opens in 2024, and believes that the first phase of construction will allow the development to deliver on that promise.
