Camas Brewing Co. opens in downtown Camas

Eric Duensing’s desire to launch a brewery in Camas sprouted from his desire to launch a brewery in Seabrook, a small-but-growing tourist town on the Washington coast.

‘That’s Emma!’ gets movie treatment

For the past seven years, Marcus Bennett has diligently worked to develop his skills as a video producer and editor, sound engineer, and camera operator. But earlier this year, he took advantage of an opportunity to use all of his talents at once to create something entirely new, both for him and the Washougal High School drama department.

Finding their ‘roots and wings’

When their teacher asked them to design images that symbolized where they came from – and where they hoped to go – to paint on shoes, many of the Jemtegaard Middle School students in art teacher Dani Allen’s class struggled with the assignment.
